I.                   Real Estate Law:

•  Residential & Commercial sales and purchases:  I have represented Buyers and Sellers of residential and commercial real estate for over 20 years.  I also draft commercial and residential leases and I review and draft many types of Contracts.

 

• Eminent Domain: I have successfully represented homeowners, owners of real property and tenants of property being taken by a municipality or other governmental agency for a public project.  I have seen to it that my clients received just compensation for the taking.

 

• 1031 Exchanges: I have helped clients exchange commercial property for like kind property in order to avoid the payment of  capital gains taxes on their appreciated property.

 

II.                Dispute Mediation:

         This is an area that is increasing in popularity as a chosen method to resolve conflict.  I have received beginning and advanced training from  DePaul University College of Law and from the Center for Conflict Resolution, well known in the Chicago area.     III.       Probate:    

        I have settled estates for numerous families over my twenty years of practice.  I will continue to represent clients in both Lake and Cook counties.
